Ivan Hribar brought new dynamics to Cerklje with the purchase of the house at the end of the 19th century.
Today, it is home to a cultural center that connects the past with the future.
In 2020, the Municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem purchased the Hribar Villa with the intention of establishing a cultural center – the Museum of the Municipality of Cerklje.
Three permanent exhibitions are on display:

The exhibition can be visited by prior arrangement during the official opening hours of the Municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem.
